Mga baril ng NPA sa Davao de Oro inginuso ng sumukong rebelde
Nahukay ng mga tauhan ng Army 66th Infantry Batallion ang ilang piraso ng baril na itinuro ng isang sumukong rebelde sa New Bataan, Davao de Oro.
Kabilang sa mga nahukay ay tatlong AK-47 rifles, isang M-16 rifle, isang M203 grenade launcher at mga bala.
Sinabi ni Lt. Col. Julius Munar, commanding officer ng 66IB, ang pinaglibingan sa mga baril sa Sitio Libuton, Barangay Andap ay itinuro ni alias Wen-Wen.
Dating miyembro si Wen-Wen ng ROC-HQ, SMRC ng NPA.
“This proves that these former rebels have turned their back to the NPA’s doctrine and shifted their support to the government,” sabi ni Munar.
