Pangulong Duterte, pinangunahan ang inagurasyon ng bagong MMDA Head Office Building
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang inagurasyon ng bagong Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Head Office Building sa Pasig City, Lunes ng hapon.
“As we can see around us today, it is time to congratulate the MMDA for the successful completion of its new home, which will provide everyone in the organization the space they need to function more efficiently,” pahayag ng pangulo sa kaniyang talumpati.
Dagdag nito, “I expect that this building complex will encourage both officials and employees to continue working hard for a sustainable, resilient, dynamic and, most of all, people-centered MMDA.”
Sa mga susunod na araw, asahan aniyang lubos na makatutulong ang naturang proyekto upang matugunan ng ahensya ang tungkulin sa publiko.
“It is my hope that the momentum that we have gained through this project, as well as in our other previous projects, will motivate other government offices and institutions to invest in similar undertakings,” aniya pa.
Ito ay isang 20-storey state-of-the-art government facility na kayang ma-accommodate ang iba’t ibang serbisyo at tungkulin ng ahensya.
Ikinokonsidera ang naturang pasilidad bilang ‘historic milestone’ para sa MMDA.
Ang bagong pasilidad ay mayroon nang centralized data system, upgraded Metrobase Operations Center at MMDA Corporate Auditorium.
Isa rin itong ‘green’ at sustainable building na may one-star accreditation mula sa Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence (BERDE).
