Brutal na pagpatay sa isang estudyanteng miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ kinondena ni de Lima
Mariin ang pagkondena ni Senator Leila de Lima sa brutal na pagpatay sa isang senior high school student na miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ community sa Bongao, Tawi- Tawi.
Ayon kay de Lima kailangan masusing maimbestigahan ang pagpatay kay Khaleed ‘Khay’ Abdulgajir, estudyante ng Integrated Laboratory School of Mindanao State University at mabigyan siya ng hustisya.
Nagtamo ng limang saksak sa katawan ang biktima, bukod sa malalim na sugat sa leeg.
“Its appaling how some people have no qualms to kill, as if life is so cheap that they can simply take it away whenever they like. No family deserves to suffer the pain of losing their loved ones to violence,” ayon sa senadora.
Una nang sinabi ni Salm Kairo Dumanlag, executive director ng Mindanao Pride, matindi ang epekto ng pagpatay kay Abdulgajir sa mga lumalaban laban sa diskriminasyon sa LGBTQIA+ community.
