700 gramo ng marijuana, ilang improvised weapon nasamsam sa QC Jail Male Dormitory
Aabot sa 700 gramo ng Marijuana at iba’t ibang improvised weapon ang nasamsam sa Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory matapos magsagawa ng Greyhound Operation.
Ayon kay QCJMD Warden Supt. Michelle Bonto, kabilang sa mga nakumpiska ang isang Caliber .38 revolver, anim na live ammunition, 23 piraso ng cal. 38 ammunition, isang piraso ng cal .45 ammunition, 84 piraso ng improvised knife/bladed weapons, 30 piraso ng ice picks, 46 piraso ng Indian arrows, limang piraso ng cellphones, at Marijuana.
Nasamsam ang mga kontrabando sa tulong ng K9 Narcotics Detection Dog (NCDD) ng Quezon City Police District.
Ayon kay Bonto, isinagawa ang Greyhound Operation dalawang araw matapos ang staged riot ng mga bilanggo.
Sinadya aniya ng mga bilanggo na mag-riot para mapalitan ang mga guwardiya at maipasok ang mga kontrabando.
“The operation required the smashing of solid walls and floors and excavation works in order to unearth the hidden contrabands cemented on concrete pavements,” pahayag ni Bonto.
