Hindi mapigilan ang pag-arangkada ng mga atletang Pilipino sa ika-31 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games sa Hanoi, Vietnam.

Sa araw ng Martes, Mayo 17, nakakuha ang unang gintong medalya ng Pilipinas sa Women’s 9 Ball Pool Singles Finals sa Billiards matapos matalo ni Rubilen Amit si Jessica Tan ng Singapore.

Gold medal din si Eric Cray sa Men’s 400m hurdles.

Mayroon na ring gold medal ang Pilipinas sa Muay.

Naipanalo nina Islay Erika Bomogao at Rhichein Yosorez ang Women’s Wai Kru Mai All-Female event ng Muay sa iskor na 8.68.

Samantala, hindi rin nagpahuli ang Fencing Women’s Team ng Pilipinas nang masungkit nina Samantha Catantan, Wilhelmina Lozada Justine Gail Tinio at Maxine Esteban ang silver medal.

Maiuuwi naman ni Robyn Brown ang bronze medal sa Athletics Women’s 400m Hurdles.
