CebuPac pilot umaming walang basehan ang socmed post vs. VP Leni

Humingi ng paumanhin kay Vice President Leni Robredo ang mataas na opisyal ng Cebu Pacific kaugnay sa naging kontrobersyal na social media post ng isang piloto noong nakaraang buwan.

Sa inilabas na pahayag ni Capt. Sam Avila, Vice President for Flight Operations, inamin ng piloto na wala siyang naging basehan ng kanyang post.

Ayon pa rin sa hindi na kinilalang piloto, ‘speculative’ at ‘careless’ ang pag-post niya sa kanyang social media account na hiniling ni Robredo na gawing prayoridad ang kanyang biyahe sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

“While the pilot posted his commentary on his own accord, a post he has since removed, on behalf of Cebu Pacific, and Head of our Pilot Group, I take command responsibility and apologize unreservedly to the Vice President and the general public for the actions of our pilot,” ang pahayag ni Avila.

Diin niya, kinikilala naman ang kalayaan ng lahat na magpahayag ng kanilang saloobin, ngunit aniya kailangan ding maging maingat.

Ayon pa kay Avila, inamin rin ng piloto na batid niya ang ‘social media policies’ ng Cebu Pacific at nagkamali siya sa kanyang post.

Sa ngayon, ‘under disciplinary review’ ang piloto alinsunod naman sa polisya ng kompaniya.
