LTFRB, nagbabala sa ‘ulo-ulo’ modus ng premium taxi drivers
Nakahuli na ang mga tauhan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ng 13 premium taxi units sa ikinasang anti-colorum operations simula noong Marso.
Kasabay nito, nagbabala ang ahensiya sa modus ng ilang taxi drivers na kada-ulo ang paniningil sa kanilang mga pasahero.
Nabatid na dumami ang reklamo ng mga pasahero ukol sa ‘ulo-ulo’ modus sa mga taxi.
Paliwanag ng LTFRB, bagamat premium taxi na matatawag, ang mga ito ay may katulad lang din na operasyon ng regular taxi.
Ang premium taxi at bahagi ng Taxi Modernization Program at ang mga ito ay maaring multi-purpose vehicle, utility van o sports utility vehicle (SUV).
