Nag-concede na si Bohol Governor Arthur Yap kay Congressman Erico Aristotle Aumentado sa gubernatorial race sa probinsya.
“We have fought the good fight and the people have spoken,” ani Yap sa inilabas na pahayag.
Binati nito si Aumentado.
Nagpasalamat naman si Tap sa mga residente ng Bohol para sa magbibigay ng pribilehiyong makapagsilbi bilang gobernador ng naturang probinsya at three term congressman ng ikatlong distrito.
“To all who supported me in my political journey, I will forever be grateful to all of you even as I now announce the closure of my involvement in local politics,” ani Yap.
Dagdag nito, “Let us put aside differences and unite for the future of Bohol.”
Base sa partial at unofficial result ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) transparency server hanggang 11:17, Martes ng umaga (Mayo 10), nakakuha si Aumentado ng 469,312 votes habang si Yap naman ay may 283,599 votes.
