Magalong at dalawa pang opisyal sa Baguio, naiproklama na
Ilang oras matapos isara ang mga polling precinct, naiproklama na ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) si reelectionist Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong.
Ito ay makaraang makakuha si Magalong ng malaking kalamangan sa mga naging katunggali sa mayoralty race.
Nakakuha si Magalong ng 64,665 votes.
Lubos ang pasasalamat ng alkalde sa mga nagtiwala upang maging ama muli ng Baguio City.
“I am inspired to serve you even better and set a higher standard to what you deserve from your public servants,” saad nito.
Dagdag ni Magalong, “I look forward to serving you better—FOR A BETTER BAGUIO.”
Maliban kay Magalong, naiproklama na rin sina Congressman-elect Marquez Go na nakakuha ng 91,600 votes, at Vice Mayor-elect Faustino Olowan na may 60,885 votes.
