De Lima, hiniling sa DOJ na suriin ang kanyang drug cases
Hiniling ni reelectionist Senator Leila de Lima sa Department of Justice (DOJ) na rebisahin ang drug cases na isinampa laban sa kanya kasunod na rin ng pagbaligtad ng isang testigo.
Sa sulat ni de Lima na may petsang Mayo 5, kay Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra, binanggit nito ang affidavit ni dating National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Deputy Director at BuCor OIC Rafael Ragos na binawi ang mga naging testimoniya laban kay de Lima.
“There is a need for the DOJ to review the drug cases filed against me to determine if indeed these were prosecuted by the Panel of Prosecutors even after being told by Ragos that his testimony and all his allegations against me are all lies,” diin nito.
Aniya, sakaling mapatunayang totoo ang mga sinabi ni Ragos sa kanyang pagbawi ng kanyang mga testimoniya, dapat bawiin na ng DOJ ang mga kasong isinampa laban sa kanya.
Sa nasabi ring sulat, hiniling ni de Lima kay Guevarra na madaliin ang pag-review sa bagong affidavit ni Ragos.
