Free dialysis ng Pitmaster Foundation naputol sa suspensyon ng e-sabong

Natuldukan sa higit 50,000 dialysis patients ang natulungan ng Pitmaster Foundation bunsod nang pagsuspinde ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa operasyon ng online sabong sa bansa.

Paliwanag ni Atty. Caroline Cruz, executive director ng Pitmaster Foundation, nahinto pansamantala ang operasyon ng Lucky 8 Star Quest, ang kanilang donor sa kanilang free dialysis program dahil sa kautusan ng Malakanyang.

Ang Lucky 8 ang pinakamalaking online sabong operator sa bansa at bago pa man pormal na matanggap ang kautusan ng Palasyo, sinuspinde na ni gambling consultant Atong Ang kanilang operasyon.

“We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and we understand the frustration coming from the announcement,” sabi pa ni Cruz.

Aniya, habang suspendido ang kanilang free dialysis program, pagbubutihin naman nila ang kanilang sistema para sa pagbabalik nito ay mas epektibo ang pagsisilbi nila sa mga pasyente.

Sa higit isang taon na paggana ng programa, 50,225 dialysis patients na ang kanilang natulungan.
