P328,000 na halaga ng marijuana, nasamsam sa Muntinlupa
Nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark ang P328,900 halaga ng 253 gramo ng Kush Marijuana sa controlled delivery operations sa Muntinlupa City.
Isinagawa ang naturang operasyon sa Customs Anti-Illegal Drug Task Force (CAIDTF), Enforcement & Security Service (ESS), Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS), X-ray Inspection Project (XIP), at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Nakuha ang mga ilegal na droga sa dumating na shipment mula sa Nashville, Tennessee sa Amerika noong Abril 22.
Unang idineklara na naglalaman ang kargamento ng “Tea French Press, made Out of Tree Leaves.”
Ngunit nang isailalim sa 100 porsyentong physical examination sa kargamento, tumambad ang dalawang pack ng hinihinalang marijuana.
Nagpositibo sa marijuana ang kargamento matapos dumaan sa chemical laboratory analysis ng PDEA.
Naglabas ng Warrant of Seizure and Detention si District Collector Alexandra Lumontad laban sa kargamento dahil sa paglabag sa Sections 118 (g), 119 (d), at 1113 (f) ng Republic Act 10863 na may kinalaman sa Section 4 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Naaresto ng BOC at PDEA ang dalawang claimant ng kargamento.
