DOJ nagpasaklolo sa Ombudsman sa Ragos affidavit

Umaapela ang Department of Justice (DOJ) sa Office of the Ombudsman na busisiin ang pagbawi ng testimonya ni dating Bureau of Corrections officer-in-charge Rafael Ragos na nagdadawit kay Senador Leila de Lima sa kasong illegal drugs.

Ayon kay Prosecutor General Ben Malcontento, pinaka-best course of action na magagawa ng kanilang hanay ay ang konsultahin ang Ombudsman.

Paliwanag ni Malcontento, sangkot kasi ngayon ang mga kasalukuyan at mga dating opisyal ng DOJ.

Una nang binawi ni Ragos ang testimonya nito at sinabing pinilit lamang siya ni dating Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre na sabihing tumanggapng milyong pera si de Lima mula sa mga nakakulong na drug lord sa New Bilibid Prison.

Humingi na ng paumanhin si Ragos kay de Lima.
