Mayo 3 idineklarang regular holiday para sa Ramadan

Idineklara ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na regular holiday ang Mayo 3, 2022.

Ito ay para sa paggunita sa Eid’l Fitr o Feast of Ramadan ng mga Muslim.

Nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Proclamation No. 1356 noong araw ng Linggo, Mayo 1 pero sa araw ng Lunes lamang, Mayo 2, ini-release sa publiko.

“The entire Filipino nation should have the full opportunity to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in peace and harmony in observance and celebration of Eid’l Fitr, subject to the public health measures of the national government,” saad ng proklamasyon.

Una rito, inirekomenda ng National Commission on Muslim Filipinos na ideklarang holiday ang Mayo 3.

Gayunman, nagsimula ang selebrasyon ng mga Muslim sa araw ng Lunes matapos ianunsyo ng Grand Mufti of the Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta na namataan na ang buwan.
