Isa pang sectoral group ang nagpahayag ng suporta sa kandidatura ni Vice President Leni Robredo.
Sa pahayag ng Farmers Association of Bukidnon (FABUK), nagpasya ang kanilang grupo na sumama sa dumadaming organisasyon na pumapanig kay Robredo.
Ayon sa FABUK, ang malinaw na plataporma ni Robredo ang kanilang naging basehan para suportahan ang kandidatura nito.
Kumpleto, komprehensibo at inclusive ang mga programa ni Robredo sa mga napabayaang sektor lalo na ang mga magsasaka.
“We have had ample opportunities in the past months to analyze the aims and objectives of the various competitors in the upcoming elections. We, the Farmers Association of Bukidnon (FABUK), with 7635 members declaring our unwavering support for VP Leni Robredo and her team, and to help spread the word and campaign for them,” pahayag ng grupo.
“VP Leni has extensive experience, competence and excellent leadership qualities to lead and take us out of pandemic and economic crisis and into recovery and progress,” dagdag na pahayag ng grupo.
Kabilang sa mga lumagda sa statement ng grupo sina FABUK president Eduardo Narag Jr., Teddy Jumawan, vice president at Janice Valdez, secretary.
Naniniwala ang FABUK na dahil sa patuloy na pagdami ng mga cause-oriented groups at volunteers, malaki ang papel na gagampanan ng mga ito para maipanalo si Robredo.
Samantala, nangako naman ang grupong IMk Leni na patuloy silang mangangampanya para maipanalo si Robredo.
Ayon sa IMk Leni, aktibong nakikilahok sa kanilang grupo ang mga community-based organizations sa 11 rehiyon sa bansa.
Ang IMk Leni ay descendant grassroots movement ng Ikaw Muna (IM) Pilipinas na una nang sumuporta sa kanindatura ni Manila Mayor Isko Moreno at lumipat kay Robredo.
Ayon kay Tim Orbos, convenor ng IMk Leni, welcome sa kanilang hanay ang mga grupong sumusuporta kay Robredo.
“We are grateful for this latest development… another large sectoral group from the grassroots level has decided to join us in our commitment to campaign and elect VP Robredo as our new president,” pahayag ni Orbos.
