Pagbawi ng testimonya ni Kerwin Espinosa, walang epekto sa kaso ni de Lima
Walang epekto sa naka-pending na kasong kriminal kay Senador Leila de Lima ang pagbawi ng testimonya ng pangunahing witness na si Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa.
Pahayag ito ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa pagbawi ni Espinosa sa naunang testimonya na nagdadawit kay de Lima sa kaso ng illegal na droga.
Ayon kay acting presidential spokesman Martin Andanar, malinaw ang nakasaad sa prosecutor general na hindi state witness si Espinosa.
“While Kerwin Espinosa appears to have recanted his allegations against Senator Leila de Lima, his recantation will not have any effect on the pending criminal cases against the lady senator. We have to underscore what the Prosecutor General said — Mr. Espinosa is not a state witness,” pahayag ni Andanar.
