Comelec, humirit kay Pangulong Duterte na ideklarang special non-working holiday ang May 9

Humihirit ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ideklarang special non-working holiday ang Mayo 9, araw ng eleksyon sa buong bansa.

Ayon kay Comelec Chairman Saidamen Pangarungan, nilagdaan ng en banc ang Resolution Number 10784 na humihiling sa Pangulo na ideklarang holiday ang Mayo 9.

Nilagdaan ng Comelec ang resolusyon noong Miyerkules, Abril 27.

Wala pa namang tugon ang Palasyo sa hirit ng Comelec.
