Dagdag ¥30-B na utang ng Pilipinas sa Japan, plantsado na

Nagkasundo na ang Pilipinas at Japan para sa panibagong ¥30 billion na utang para sa patuloy na pakikiharap ng bansa sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Pinirmahan ang kasunduan nina Finance Sec. Carlos Dominguez III at Akihiko Tanaka, ang bagong pangulo ng Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) sa Tokyo, Japan ayon inilabas na pahayag ng Department of Finance.

Ang utang ay ang ‘second phase’ ng COVID-19 Crisis Response Emergency Support Loan ng Pilipinas.

Noong Hulyo 2021, nagpautang ang Japan sa Pilipinas ng ¥50 billion para sa COVID-19 response ng gobyerno.

Pinasalamatan ni Dominguez ang gobyerno ng Japan dahil sa patuloy na pagsuporta sa mga programa ng Pilipinas.
