Bilang ng stranded na pasahero sa mga pantalan dahil sa #AgatonPH, nasa higit 9,000

Patuloy na nakatutok ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa mga stranded na pasahero sa mga pantalan.

Bunsod pa rin ito ng Bagyong Agaton.

Sa maritime safety advisory mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 12:00 ng tanghali (April 12), stranded ang 9,435 na pasahero, drivers at cargo helpers sa mga pantalan sa Bicol, Eastern Visayas, North Eastern Mindanao, Central Visayas, at Western Visayas.

Maliban dito, stranded din ang 42 vessels, isang motorbanca, at 2,800 rolling cargoes.

Ayon sa PCG, nasa light to moderate ang sea condition sa Western Visayas, moderate to rough sa North Eastern Mindanao at Bicol Region, moderate sa Central Visayas, habang rough to very rough sa Eastern Visayas.

Patuloy naman ang 24/7 nationwide monitoring ng PCG Operations Center para sa istriktong implementasyon ng guidelines sa galaw ng mga sasakyang-pandagat.

Nakaalerto rin ang Coast Guard Districts, Stations, at Sub-Stations across sa bansa sakaling magkaroon ng emergency situations, katuwang ang Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC).
