Pro-Isko group, nanawagan sa ibang presidential bet na magkaisa vs Marcos
Isa pang volunteer group na sumusuporta sa kandidatura ni Aksyon Demokratiko presidential candidate Manila Mayor Isko Moreno sa probinsya ng Samar ang nanawagan sa ibang presidential candidate na magkaisa para talunin si dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos jr.
Ayon kay dating Villareal, Samar vice mayor Babam Cabueños, pinakamabisang paraan para talunin si Marcos ay magkaisa ang ibang kandidato.
Dapat aniyang ibase sa credibility, empirical atobjective data at criteria ang pagkakaroon ng “tactical alliance building.”
“At this point of the ballgame, it’s not yet too late for Mayor Isko and the other contenders to swallow their pride to reach out to other candidates’ teams to come together and rally with the most formidable non-Marcos candidate, if only for the sole purpose of preventing a return of the most-maligned Marcos regime,” pahayag ni Cabueños.

Ayon kay Cabueños, mayroong 6,000 miyembro ang kanilang grupo na mayroong municipal coordinators sa bawat bayan.
Si Cabueños ang tumatayong provincial coordinator ng Samar of the volunteer group Warays for Isko, at tumatakbong konsehal sa bayan ng Villarreal sa ilalim ng Aksyon Demokratiko.
Ayon kay Cabueños, nagsagawa ng ganitong panawagan ang Aksyon Demokratiko dahil ito ay isang “patriotic duty” para pagsilbihan at pangalagaan ang bayan saa posibleng pang-aabuso sakaling manalong pangulo ng bansa si Marcos.
“We believe that Mayor Isko has all it takes to be a good President. But the lack of machinery on the ground due to the absence of party support makes it utterly impossible for him to win at this point,” pahayag ni Cabueños.
“We believe that an alliance towards a common goal of love of country is the best decision in this situation, with elections a month away. The stakes are too high to stay the course and we know we cannot do it on our own. We believe that it takes all the non-Marcos candidates coming together to defeat Marcos,” pahayag ni Cabueños.
Pagtitiyak ni Cabueños, nanatili ang kanilang suporta kay Moreno kahit na magkaroon pa ng pagkakaisa ang ibang kandidato sa pagka-pangulo.
“At this point, we are calling for a unified candidate, a unified opposition, with such a call gaining ground with supporters of various presidentiables in our area, but we continue to monitor events on the ground and talk to our members. Should our call fall on deaf ears and it remains status quo, before Holy Week, the group will be forced to make a decision,” pahayag ni Cabueños.
Ayon sa grupo, may ginagawa nang backdoor talks ang mga matataas na opisyal ng Nationalist People’s Coalition, Partido Reporma ng Pilipinas, Liberal Party at Aksyon Demokratiko para hikayatin ang mga kandidato at mag-usap para magkaroon ng iisang estratihiya para talunin si Marcos.
“We have to come to terms to reality and make a stand in the open in order not to give Mayor Isko false hopes,” pahayag ni Cabueños.
