Pulis na namaril sa 22-anyos na estudyante sa QC, sinibak

Sinibak na sa serbisyo ng People Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) Quezon City ang isang pulis na namaril sa isang 22 anyos na estudyante.

Ayon kay Atty. Rafael Calinisan, PLEB Executive Officer, nakilala ang nasibak na si Police Corporal Reymark Rigor.

Napatunayang guilty sa kasong grave neglect of duty at misconduct si Rigor matapos barilin ang estudyante na si Adrienne Dominique Cruz Castor noong Pebrero 8.

Pauwi na sana Castor nang makasalubong ang lasing na si Rigor.

Binaril ni Rigor si Castro sa dibdib subalit nakaligtas ito sa kawit ng kamatayan.

Samantala, na-demote naman ng isang ranggo sina PSMS Neleazar Torrijos, PSSG Fernan Concepcion at PCPL Jimbeam Fernandez dahil sa grave neglect of duty dahil sa hindi pagresponde kung saan nasa labas lamang ng kanilang tahanan ang insidente ng pamamaril.

Nabatid na nag-iinuman sina
Torrijos, Concepcion, Fernandez at Rigor.

Na-demote rin ng isang ranggo si PSSG Bryan Busto matapos magsagawa ng imbestigasyon at pagtakpan ang kaso.

Sa halip kasi na frustrated murder, physical injury lamang ang inilagay na kaso ni Busto sa shooting incident.

Exonerated naman sina PSSG Jayson Osmena at PCPL Jaycee Tordil.

Agad namang pinuri ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang PLEB dahil sa mabilis na pag-aksyon sa kaso.

“I salute the People’s Law Enforcement Board of Quezon City. You have resolved this case in record time, without fear for your own safety,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

“The general public has not seen any recent case that was decided this quickly. With this, I hope that any aggrieved person will seek recourse with PLEB,” dagdag ni Belmonte.
