P1.7-M halaga ng shabu, nakumpiska sa magkakahiwalay na operasyon sa NCR
Humigit-kumulang P1.7 milyong halaga ng shabu ang nakumpiska sa tatlong magkakahiwalay na anti-illegal drugs operations sa National Capital Region.
Ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP), ikinasa ang unang operasyon ng Makati Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) sa bahagi ng Barangay Valenzuela noong April 5.
Kasabay ng pagkakaaresto sa drug suspect na si Vernie “Mimi” Antonio, nakuha ng mga awtoridad ang P340,000 halaga ng shabu.
Sa kaparehong petsa, isa pang operasyon ang isinagawa sa Sampaloc, Maynila kung saan nahuli naman ang tatlong drug suspect na sina Jefferson “Jeff” Austria, 18-anyos; John Ashley Diaz, 20-anyos; at Ruel “Wewe” Salalac, 23-anyos.
Aabot sa P856,800 halaga ng shabu ang nasamsam sa naturang buy-bust operation.
Nitong Miyerkules, April 6 P521,560 halaga naman ng shabu ang nakuha sa anti-illegal drug operation sa Barangay Ususan, Taguig City.
Nahuli ng Drug Enforcement Unit SPD ang drug suspects na sina Nazarene Mortega, Rhodora Cruz, Pinky Larubis, Andrea Bautista, Joshua Maraquel, at Marlon Magtibay.
Mahaharap ang mga drug suspect sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
“We have a working police organization determined to supress the proliferation of illegal drugs. I congratulate our operatives for the successful operations,” pahayag ni PNP Chief General Dionardo Carlos.
