Bilang ng mga lumabag sa election gun ban, umabot na sa higit 2,300 – DILG

Umabot na sa humigit-kumulang 2,300 ang napaulat na lumabag sa election gun ban, ayon sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Layon ng election gun ban na matiyak ang kaayusan at kapayapaan para sa nalalapit na halalan sa May 9.

Sa Laging Handa public briefing, nagpaalala si DILG Undersecretary Epimaco Densing II sa publiko na huwag magdala ng baril kung walang exemption mula sa Commission on Elections (Comelec).

“Otherwise, kayo po’y huhulihin at ikukulong,” babala pa nito.

Sinimulan ang pagpapatupad ng election gun ban noong January 9 at tatagal hanggang June 8, 2022.
