NTC, inatasan ang telcos na tiyakin ang tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo sa mga lugar na apektado ng pag-aalburoto ng Bulkang Taal
Inatasan ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) ang lahat ng public telecommunication entities na tiyakin na may sapat silang bilang ng technical support personnel at standby generators na may extra fuel, tools at spare equipment sa lugar na apektado ng pag-aalburoto ng Bulkang Taal.
Sa memorandum na nilagdaan ni NTC Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba na may petsang March 28, inatasan din ang telcos na maglagay ng Libreng Tawag at Libreng Charging Stations sa mga evacuation site na tinukoy ng Provincial Government ng Batangas.
Pinaalalahanan din ang telcos na makipag-coordinate sa mga local government unit at ipagpatuloy ang mahigpit na pagtalima sa health protocols upang maiwasan ang hawaan ng COVID-19.
Noong Sabado, itinaas ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) sa Alert Level 3 ang Taal Volcano makaraang makapagtala ng sunud-sunod na maiiksing phreatomagmatic bursts.
