P6.8-M halaga ng shabu na itinago sa pressure cooker, nasabat ng BOC
Sa pagpapatuloy ng kampanya ng administrasyong Duterte laban sa ilegal na droga, nasamsam Bureau of Customs-NAIA at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang milyun-milyong halaga ng shabu noong Miyerkules, March 30.
Nadiskubre ng dalawang ahensya, na bahagi ng NAIA Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-DITG), ang mga ilegal na droga na itinago sa pressure cooker.
Idineklara ang shipment, na nagmula sa Malaysia, na naglalaman ng “a multi-function pressure cooker.”
Ngunit, tumambad sa mga awtoridad ang 1,011 gramo ng methamphetamine hydrochloride o shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P6,874,800.
Nangako naman ang BOC-NAIA na ipagpapatuloy nila ang mga operasyon sa gitna ng giyera laban sa ilegal na droga, bilang bahagi ng direktiba ni BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero.
