Sumuko sa Joint Task Force (JTF) Basilan ang 11 miyembro ng Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) na nakabase sa Basilan noong March 29.

Ayon kay Lt. Gen. Alfredo Rosarrio, Jr., Commander ng Western Mindanao Command (WESMINCOM), sumuko si ASG sub-leader Abdullah Indanan alyas “Guro” at 10 pang miyembro kay JTF Basilan Commander, Brig. Gen.

“Continue what you are doing in your area of operations. Neutralizing the leaders of threat groups affects their morale, leading to the surrender of its members,” pahayag ni Gen. Centino.

Dagdag nito, “Let us continue our momentum in our operations to secure the communities from threats and ensure the success of the 2022 national and local elections.”
