Overstaying Chinese na sangkot umano sa prostitusyon, nasabat sa Parañaque City
Naaresto ang isang overstaying Chinese national na pwersahan umanong pinagtrabaho ang ilang babaeng Koryano bilang prostiture sa mga kababayang nasa Pilipinas.
Sa ulat kay Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Jaime Morente, tinukoy ni BI Intelligence Division Chief Fortunato Manahan Jr. ang 35-anyos na dayuhang si Jin Mingchun.
Armado ng mission order, naaresto ang dayuhan sa kaniyang tahanan sa Parañaque City noong March 22.
Napag-alaman na isa nang overstaying alien si Jin sa Pilipinas nang mahigit dalawang taon.
Samantala, ipinag-utos ni Morente sa Legal Division ng ahensya na simulan ang deportation proceedings laban kay Jin dahil sa pagiging overstaying at undesirable alien.
“Aliens like him who prey on women, do not deserve the privilege to stay in the country. They should be expelled and banned from re-entering the Philippines,” pahayag ni Morente.
Sa ngayon, nakakulong si Jin sa BI Warden Facility sa Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City habang hinihintay ang deportation proceedings.
