Force evacuation sa mga mangingisda sa Taal Volcano Island, ipinatupad ng PCG
Naka-heightened alert status ngayon ang Philippine Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog dahil sa patuloy na pag-aalburuto ng Bulkang Taal.
Ayon kay PCG commandant Admiral Artemio Abu, nagpakalat na ng isang deployable response group ang PCG Batangas para mabantayan ang sitwasyon at mga susunod pang aktibidad ng Bulkang Taal.
Inatasan na rin ni Abu ang PCG sub-station Talisay at San Nicolas para magpatupad ng “force evacuation” sa lahat ng mga mangingisda at fish cage workers sa paligid ng Taal Volcano Island.
Sinabi pa ni Abu na naka-antabay na ang dalawang PCG trucks sa Batangas para makatulong sa paglikas ng mga apektadong residente.
