Kampo ni dating Speaker Alvarez hiniritan si Ping Lacson ng P800 milyon
Bago binawi ang pag-endorso sa kanya, humingi ng P800 milyon ang kampo ni dating House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez.
Ito ang ibinahagi ni independent presidential aspirant Panfilo Lacson matapos ikatuwiran ni Alvarez na ang mababang surveys’ ratings ng una ang dahilan kayat lumipat sila kay Vice President Leni Robredo.
“If pre-election surveys were his primary reason for switching his support, I don’t believe it because, like me, Mayor Isko and Sen. Pacquiao, his newly chosen candidate is also lagging far behind the survey leader,” aniya.
Ayon kay Lacson ang talagang dahilan ay ang hindi niya pagbibigay ng P800 milyon na hiningi sa kanya ng chief of staff ni Alvarez.
Sinabi nito hindi niya kaya na magbigay ng P800 milyon, na sinasabing ipapagamit para sa mga lokal na kandidato ng Partido Reporma.
Inulit din ni Lacson na wala siyang sama ng loob kay Alvarez, ngunit pinayuhan niya ito na manahimik na ukol sa isyu.
“It is better that he stop talking about this but if he insists to explain his action. I’ll be prompted to respond to correct his statements,” dagdag pa nito.
