Smartmatic, hindi makakasipot sa pagdinig sa Senado

Magsasagawa sana ng pagdinig ang Joint Congressional Oversight Committee on Automated Election System (JCOC-AES) kaugnay sa hindi otorisado at kontrobersyal pagbabago sa transparency server script.

Gaganapin sana ito ngayong araw ng Huwebes, ngunit kinansela muna ito ni JCOC-AES chair Sen. Koko Pimentel.

Nagsabi kasi aniya sa kanila ang election technology provider na Smartmatic na hindi sila makakadalo sa pagdinig.

Ayon kay Smartmatic voter education head Karen Jimeno, hindi sila makakapunta dahil sinabihan sila ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) na dapat naroon sila sa proklamasyon ng mga nanalong senador at party-list groups.

Gaganapin ang nasabing proklamasyon Huwebes ng hapon. Bukod sa issue sa transparency server script, tatalakayin rin sa pagdinig ang 2,363 na vote counting machines na pumalya, mga naging problema sa transmission at ang accomodation ng isang tauhan ng Smartmatic sa Novotel Hotel na malapit lang sa headquarters ng Liberal Party.
