Target ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na ibalik ang libreng sakay sa pamamagitan ng Service Contracting Program sa buwan ng Abril.
Sa Laging Handa Public Briefing, sinabi ni LTFRB Regional Director Zona Russet Tamayo na naghihintay na lamang ang kanilang tanggapan na maibigay ang pondo para muling maibalik ang libreng sakay.
Una rito, sinabi ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) na nailabas na nila ang P7 bilyong pondo para sa SCP.
Ang SCP ay inisyatibo ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) na nag-aalok ng Libreng sakay.
Umaasa si Tamayo na mas marami pang drayber at operator ang lalahok sa SCP.
