Ginawaran ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ng pagkilala ang Quezon City bilang lungsod na may pinakamaraming establisyimentong binigyan ng Safety Seal Certification.
Mismong si Mayor Joy Belmonte ang tumanggap ng parangal mula kay DILG Secretary Eduardo Año sa ginanap na awarding ceremony sa SM Mall of Asia.
Aabot sa 5,800 na establisyemento sa lungsod ang nagawaran ng safety seal.
Ayon kay Belmonte, patunay ito na sa mahigpit nilang ipinapatupad ang minimum health protocols, at gumagamit ng contact tracing app ng QC, ang KyusiPass.
Sa tulong din ng Safety Seal, mas tumaas ang kumpyansa ng mga kostumer na ang pupuntahan nila ay mahigpit na nagpapatupad ng health protocols kaya safe silang bumisita o kumain doon.
