Muling inihalal si Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas bilang Presidente ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines o CBCP.
82 mula sa 95 o mayorya ng mga aktibong Obispo na dumalo sa CBCP assembly sa Maynila ang bumotong pabor sa re-election ni Villegas.
Na-re-elect din bilang Bise Presidente ng CBCP si Davao Archbishop Romulo Valles, habang si Palo Archbishop John Du bilang Treasurer, at si Father Marvin Mejia bilang Secretary General.
Naghalal din ang mga Obispo ng mga miyembro ng CBCP Permanent Council.
Ang regional representatives for Luzon ay sina Bishops Rodolfo Beltran ng San Fernando, La Union, Ruperto Santos ng Balanga, Gilbert Garcera ng Daet, Bernardino Cortez ng Infanta at Reynaldo Evangelista ng Imus.
Para sa Visayas, ang representatives ay sina Bishops Crispin Varquez ng Borongan at Narciso Abellana ng Romblon.
Ang representatives naman para sa Mindanao ay kinabibilangan nina Bishops Jose Cabantan ng Malaybalay at Angelito Lampon ng Jolo.
Ang mga nabanggit na CBCP officials ang mayroong two-year tenure o dalawang taong termino.
Magsisimula ang kanilang pagsisilbi sa Conference sa December 1, 2015 at magtatapos sa November 30, 2017./Isa Avendaño-Umali
