Higit P703 milyong fuel subsidy, naipamahagi na ng LTFRB
Umabot na sa 108,164 ang bilang ng nabigyan ng fuel subsidy sa ilalim ng 2022 General Appropriations Act, ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr).
Nakatanggap ang bawat benepisaryo ng halagang P6,500 bawat unit.
Sinimulan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang pamamahagi ng nasabing fuel subsidy noong Marso 15, 2022.
Inihayag ng operators at drivers na malaking tulong ang fuel subsidy dahil sa pagtaas ng presyo ng produktong petrolyo sa merkado.
Inaasahan anilang magkakaroon pa ng susunod na subsidiya ang pamahalaan.
Tuloy naman ang pagproseso ng LTFRB ng fuel subsidy sa iba pang mga benepisaryo.
Nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang ahensya sa LandBank of the Philippines (LBP) para mas mapabilis ang implementasyon ng buong programa.
