Paglalabas ng P5-B fuel subsidy, pinamamadali ni Robes
Kinalampag ni San Jose del Monte City Rep. Florida “Rida” Robes ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na agad ilabas ang P5 bilyong fuel subsidy.
Giit ng mambabatas, layon nitong maibsan ang matinding epekto ng pagtataas ng presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo sa mga operator at drayber ng public utility vehicles (PUVs).
Sa ilalim ng 2022 budget, may P5 bilyong automatic fuel subsidy kapag umabot sa 80 U.S. dollars kada bariles ang presyo ng langis.
Sa House Resolution 2515 ng kongresista, nakasaad na mula nang magsimula ang giyera sa pagitan ng Russia at Ukraine ay umakyat na sa mahigit 110 U.S. dollars ang presyo ng kada bariles ng langis sa world market.
Lumobo pa ito sa 120 U.S. dollars kung kayat sumipa sa mahigit P13 ang dagdag sa kada litro ng diesel, P7 sa gasolina, at P10 sa kerosene.
Dagdag ni Robes, matinding pahirap, lalo na sa PUV drivers, ang patuloy na pagtataas ng presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo habang hindi pa ganap na nakakabangon sa epekto ng pandemya.
