“Insinuations that she [Robredo] will somehow bend to insurgent or rebel groups are unfounded, to say the least,” pahayag ng kongresista.
“For that reason, I was among those who defended the Barangay Development Program of the NTF-ELCAC, despite the opposition of others to the Task Force as a whole. We have to approach the peace and order from a holistic perspective,” saad nito.
Ani Salceda, “That is why she has been committed to the rule of law and institutions, even in her most well-known battles, such as the fight for the land of the Sumilao farmers. That is the same approach I know she will carry to Malacañang.”
“Remember that progressive elements supported President Duterte, too, and were even part of his governing coalition. That did not make him a communist,” pahayag nito.
Pagbabahagi pa nito, “The US had a similar experience in the 1950s, when “anti-communist” hearings and accusations became a lethal witch hunt against innocent civilians. That eventually led to the political downfall of the very accusers.”
