COVID-19 vaccine ng Sinovac, maari nang iturok sa pediatric group
Inaprubahan ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang emergency use authorization (EUA) amendment sa COVID-19 vaccine ng Sinovac na CoronaVac.
Ayon kay Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, maari nang gamitin ang naturang bakuna sa mga batang may edad anim na taong gulang pataas.
Nagpasalamat naman si IP Biotech Group chairman Enrique Gonzalez sa FDA at vaccine experts sa bansa dahil sa pag-aapruba ng bakuna para sa pediatric vaccination.
“Making this vaccine available to the younger age segment is a game changer in protecting the country’s youth and preserving recent gains in controlling the pandemic,” saad nito.
Dagdag ni Gonzalez, “This will also ensure greater access and vaccine equity for the Philippines.”
