Isang koalisyon, nagkasa ng Isko-Sara campaign; Eleazar, pinili bilang unang senatorial bet

Nagkasa ang ISang Pilipinas ng kampanya para kina presidential candidate Isko Moreno at vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte-Carpio sa Pasig City noong March 12.

Pinamagatan itong “ISAng Kasiyahan, tugtugan, kantahan, kantsawan, sayawan at PAG-ASA Para sa Bagong Bukas!,” kung sana tampok ang ilang banda at performer.

Idineklara rin ng grupo ang pagsuporta sa senatorial bid ni dating Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Guillermo Eleazar.

“We chose him [Eleazar] because of his efficiency in serving our country and people and he has preserved an untarnished record as seen in his stint in the police force. He has shown us leadership by example where he cleansed the ranks… he is fearless basta nasa tamang ginagawa,” paliwanag ni ISAng Pilipinas secretary general Elmer Argaño.

Dagdag nito, “He is new blood as well in governance like Isko-Sara.”

Aniya pa, “We need strong and fearless legislators like Eleazar to complement Isko and Sara’s brand of leadership where they will need all the help. Si Eleazar ang ‘SiGa’ na epektibong magtrabaho sa Senado kaya buo ang suporta natin sa kanya.”

Nagpasalamat naman si Argaño sa mga residente ng Pasig at mga tagasuporta Moreno at Duterte sa paglulunsad ng kick-off event.

Sinabi ng grupo na iaanunsiyo nila ang iba pang senatorial candidates na kanilang ieendorso sa mga susunod na araw.

Ayon pa kay Argaño, susuportahan din nila ang mga lokal na kandidato na may kaparehong mithiin sa ISAng Pilipinas.
