Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang isang mataas na opisyal ng PDP-Laban bilang bagong acting Cabinet secretary.

Tatayo na bilang acting Cabinet Secretary si Melvin Matibag, na dating Secretary General ng PDP-Laban.

Araw ng Martes, Marso 8, nilagdaan ng Pangulo ang appointment paper ni Matibag.

Nanumpa sa araw ng Miyerkules, Marso 9, si Matibag kay Pangulong Duterte.

Papalitan ni Matibag si dating Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles na itinalaga naman ng Pangulo bilang bagong chairman ng Civil Service Commission (CSC).
