Pagkawala ng 31 katao na sangkot sa e-sabong, pinaiinbestigahan ng Malakanyang
Inatasan ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea ang iba’t ibang tanggapan ng gobyerno na imbestigahan ang pagkawala ng 31 katao na iniuugnay sa e-sabong o online sabong.
Base sa memorandum ni Medialdea na may petsang Marso 8, inatasan ang Philippine National Police (PNP) at National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na imbestigahan ang pagkawala ng mga sabungero at magsumite ng report sa loob ng 30 araw sa Office of the President (OP) at sa Department of Justice (DOJ).
Inatasan din ni Medialdea ang Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) na imbestigahan ang paglabag sa e-sabong licensees at pinatitiyak na sumusunod sa security at surveillance requirements.
Pinaiinbestigahan din ni Medialdea sa PAGCOR kung may paglabag ang e-sabong licensees sa ilalim na rin ng umiiral na terms of the agreement at requirements sa Regulatory Framework for E-Sabong Off-Cockpit Betting Station partikular na ang installation ng CCTV (closed-circuit television) systems sa e-sabong gaming sites.
