Dating house speaker, balik-kamara; iba pang nahalal na kongresista, nanumpa para sa 17th Congress

Congress Balik sa Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso si dating House Speaker Arnulfo Fuentebella, para sa 17th Congress.

Kahapon (May 16), naghain si Fuentebella ng Certificate of Proclamation o COP sa opisina ng House Secretary General.

Tinalo ni Fuentebella, ng Nationalist People’s Coalition o NPC, ang singer na si Imelda Papin para maging kinatawan ng Camarines Sur 4th district sa 17th Congress.

Bukod naman kay Fuentebella, nagtungo na rin sa lower house para iprisinta ang kani-kanilang credentials sina Reps. Federico Sandoval II (Lone District ng Malabon City), Alberto Ungab (Davao City 3rd District); Manuel Jose Dalipe (Zamboanga City 2nd District); at Johnny Pimentel (Surigao del Sur 2nd District).

Sa Sandoval, na kandidato ng NPC, ay nanalo laban kay Teresa Oreta ng Liberal Party.

Nakilala si Sandoval bilang miyembro ng “Spice Boys” ng Kamara noon.

Sa Ungab naman, kapatid ni incumbent Rep. Isidro Ungab, ay wagi kontra Karlo Bello, na anak ni 1-BAP Partylis Rep. Silvestre Bello III.

Habang si Dalipe ay dating naupong konsehal at Vice Mayor sa Zamboanga City; at si Pimentel ay dating gobernador ng Surigao del Sur sa loob ng dalawang termino.
