Miyembro ng komunistang grupo na wanted sa kasong attempted murder, timbog sa Surigao

Naaresto ng mga awtoridad ang miyembro ng isang Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) na nahaharap sa kasong murder sa Lianga, Surigao del Sur.

Nakilala ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Dionardo Carlos ang pugante na si Roel Villatora Mangadlao alyas “Ruel”, 48-anyos.

Sanib-pwersa sa operasyon ang Lianga Municipal Police Station (MPS) at 1303rd Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 13.

Base sa police records, kabilang si Mangadlao sa Guerilla Front 19A.

Nahaharap si Mangadlao sa dalawang arreset warrant sa kasong Attempted Murder na may criminal case number 20-3886 at 20-3887 na inilabas ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 28 sa Lianga, Surigao del Sur at may recommended bail na P120,000.00 para sa bawat kaso.

Lumabas sa imbestigasyon na noong February 19, 2020, nagsasagawa ang mga tropa ng Philippine Army ng Main Security Route (MSR) sa bahagi ng Simowao-Neptune, Barangay Road sa bayan ng Lianga town nang barilin ni Mangadlao at ng kaniyang grupong Guerilla Front 19, North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee (NEMRC), na nagresulta sa pagkasugat ng dalawang sundalo.

“This will be a stern warning to all the members of rebel and terrorist groups who are still at large, the PNP will not cease in our efforts to serve justice to all your victims,” saad ni Carlos.
