Game fowl industry sa bansa buhay kahit may pandemya – Sen. Cynthia Villar
Pinapurihan ni Senator Cynthia Villar ang nag-organisa ng 8th International Game Fowl Festival sa pagsusumikap na mabuhay ang industriya sa gitna ng pandemya.
“This opening of the game fowl industry doors this year hopes to bring together leading game fowl breeders, pigeon raisers, exotic animal hobbyists, veterinary and nutrition suppliers, game fowl suppliers, pigeon suppliers, pigeon fanciers, incubators, feed manufacturers, and related products and services catering to game fowl, pigeon raising and exotic animals,” sabi ni Villar sa kanyang mensahe na binasa ng kanyang anak na si Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.
Pinansin din nito ang pagkakadagdag sa reptile expo na tinampukan ng mga exotic animals.
Dagdag pa ng namumuno sa Sene Agriculture Committee hindi makakaila na labis na naapektuhan ang industriya ng krisis pangkalusugan bunga ng mga ipinairal na community quarantines.
“The sales of “ready-to-fight” game fowls in 2020, which dropped due to limited movements and restrictions brought by the community quarantines, was huge amounting to billions of pesos. Umaasa din si Villar na sa pagluluwag ay magbubukas na muli ang mga sabungan para sa kabuhayan ng mga nasa industriya at makatulong ito sa pagsigla ng ekonomiya ng bansa.
Nabanggit din nito ang ilang inobasyon sa industriya tulad ng kinagigiliwan ngayon na e-sabong.
Hamon lang nito ay ayusin pa ang e-sabong dahil sa kasalukuyang kontrobersiya na iniimbestigahan na ngayon sa Senado.
