Catbalogan, Samar niyanig ng magnitude 4.7 na lindol

Niyanig ng magnitude 4.7 na lindol ang Catbalogan, Samar kaninang alas 8:07 ng umaga.

Naitala ang pagyanig sa 32 kilometers North ng baan ng Catbalogan.

Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), tectonic ang origin ng lindol at may lalim ito na 16 kilometers.

Naramdaman ang Intensity 5 sa Catbalogan, Samar at sa Catarman, Northern Samar. Intensity 4 sa Calbayog City; San Jorge, Maotiong at Gandara, Samar. Intensity 3 sa Calbiga at Pinabacdao, Samar.
Intensity 2 sa Tacloban City; Palo at Dulag sa Leyte; Palanas, Masbate; Can-avid, Eastern Samar at Almargo, Samar at intensity I sa Naval, Biliran.

Hindi na inaasahan ng Phivolcs na magdudulot ng aftershocks ang nasabing lindol.

Wala ring inaasahang pinsala bunsod ng naturang pagyanig.
