Lacson, Sotto sinabing walang iwanan sa kanilang paglaban
Kapwa tiniyak ng tambalang Ping Lacson – Tito Sotto na magkasama sila hanggang sa huling araw ng eleksyon.
Kasunod ito nang mga naglabasang ulat ukol sa pagtatambal diumano nina Isko Moreno at Sara Duterte.
Si Lito Atienza ang running mate ni Moreno, samantalang si Bongbong Marcos naman ang standard bearer ng tinatawag na Uniteam nila ni Duterte.
“Ako, I can only speak for our tandem. ‘Di ba, may lumalabas na—lahat may lumalabas—Isko-Sara, may Leni-Sara, minsan may lumabas pang Ping-Sara. So, ang statement ko agad, without taking anything away from Mayor Sara, ang vice president ko si Tito Sotto. Now, I don’t know about the other presidential candidates,” diin ni Lacson.
Dagdag pa nito; “Kami, iba ‘yung aming tayo pagdating sa ganyang issue. Pagka may lumalabas na ganoon, I want to assure, as the Senate President has also assured me, that we’ll stick it out no matter what. Kasi we’re in this fight together and we will stay together hanggang sa logical conclusion nito.”
Sa bahagi naman ni Sotto, sinabi nito na sila ni Lacson ay naka-focus lamang sa kanilang tambalan at pangangampaniya.
“We are focusing on our campaign. We don’t really look at the, ano—it’s confined to our sphere. Hindi namin tinitingnan ‘yung kilos at mga sinasabi ng iba,” ayon pa kay Sotto.
Nagtungo ang dalawa sa Laguna, kasama ang senatorial candidates at nais makabalik sa Senado, sina Gringo Honasan at JV Ejercito, gayundin si Dra. Minguita Padilla, Manny Pinol at Guillermo Eleazar.
