Lt. Gen. Visaya at Lt. Gen. Año, pinagpipilian ni Duterte para gawing AFP Chief

Visaya and AñoMay napupusuan na si presumptive President Rodrigo Duterte para sa itatalaga niyang bagong chief of staff ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Ayon kay Duterte, si Lt. General Ricardo Visaya ang tinitignan niyang possible na maitalaga niya sa AFP.

Mula sa Southern Luzon Command si General Visaya.

Isa pa sa posibleng pagpilian din sa para sa nasabing pwesto ay si Philippine Army commander Lt. Gen. Eduardo Año.

Ayon kay Duterte, susundin niya ang seniority rule sa pagpili ng magiging susunod na AFP chief.

Sinabi ni Duterte na bubuo na ng shortlist ang board of generals para mayroon din siyang mapagpilian.

Sina Visaya at Año ay kapwa ikinunsidera din noon ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III para pamunuan ang AFP.
