DOH, nilinaw na hindi nila empleyado ang mga indibidwal na nakasuot ng DOH shirts sa isang campaign rally

Binigyang-linaw ng Department of Health (DOH) na hindi nila empleyado ang mga indibidwal na nakasuot ng DOH shirts sa isang campaign rally sa Ilocos Sur.

Sinabi ng kagawaran na base ito sa beripikasyon ng kanilang regional office.

“They are health workers employed or directly engaged by LGUs,” saad nito.

Simula pa noong November 15, 2021 binigyang-diin na anila ang panuntunan ng Executive Secretary at Civil Service Commission ukol sa paninindigan sa political neutrality sa serbisyo ng gobyerno sa lahat ng oras.

Paliwanag pa nito, “The DOH would like to clarify that it has no authority over health workers employed or directly engaged by LGUs.”

Dahil sa iba’t ibang health promotion campaign at outreach program ng kagawaran, sinabi ng DOH na namahagi sila ng multitude shirts at paraphernalia na may nakalagay na logo nito sa health at non-health workers.

“The Department urges the public not to use these political materials for endorsing candidates during the 2022 elections,” dagdag nito.
