DBM, nakapag-release ng P7.92-B pondo para sa allowance ng health workers

Aabot sa P7.92 bilyon na ang nai-release ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) para sa allowance ng mga healthcare workers at iba pang personnel na tumutugon sa pandemya sa COVID-19.

Ayon sa DBM, ang pinakahuling nai-release na pondo sa Department of Health (DOH) ay ilalaan sa One COVID-19 Allowance (OCA) ng 526,727 public at private healthcare workers, kasama na ang non-healthcare workers.

Kasama na rin dito ang P4.5 bilyong pondo para sa benefits ng 100,313 plantilla workers ng DOH sa public hospitals, offices, at rehabilitation centers pati na ang military at state university hospitals.

Ayon sa DBM, ang natitirang P3.42 bilyon ay para naman sa 426,414 health workers na nakatalaga sa local government units at private health facilities, at iba pa.

Makatatanggap ang health workers na ikinukunsiderang ‘high risk’ ng P9,000 kada buwan, habang ang nasa ‘medium risk’ ay makatatanggap ng P6,000, at ang nasa ‘low risk’ ay makatatanggap ng P3,000.
