Sinimulan na ng social media giant na Twitter ang pagkakaroon ng cryptocurrency adoption sa kanilang website.
Ayon sa namumuno ng Twitter creator monetization na si Johnny Winston, “We’re continuing to expand ways to get paid on Twitter which includes more choices for creators and fans who want to use crypto.”
Isa ang Ethereum sa dalawang cryptocurrency na tinatanggap ng Twitter para sa kanilang tipping program. Kaulaunan, maari nang gamitin ang ibang ERC-20 stable coins para sa makapag-tip sa Twitter users.
Dagdag pa ito sa unang ipinatupad ng Twitter noong Setyembre na makapagbigay ng bitcoin bilang tips para sa influencers at indibidwal na gumagamit ng social media platform.
Bukod dito, nailunsad na rin ng Twitter ang kanilang verification para sa mga Non-Fungible Token profile pictures o NFT-PFP kung saan makukumpirma ng mga Twitter user ang may-ari ng mga NFT art na ibinibenta sa iba’t ibang crypto platforms.
