Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang inagurasyon ng South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) Elevated Extension Project sa bahagi ng Alabang Northbound Entry sa Alabang, Muntinlupa City Martes ng hapon, February 15.
Sa kaniyang talumpati, binati ng pangulo ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at ang private partners nito para sa tagumpay ng proyekto.
Matibay aniyang testamento ang nasabing proyekto na tutuparin ng administrasyon ang pangakong makapagtayo ng matitibay na infrastructure projects sa bansa.
“I wish to reaffirm my Administration’s steadfast dedication to complete critical
infrastructure projects and sustainable development programs aimed towards improving the
lives of all Filipinos, even beyond my term,” pahayag ng pangulo.
Dagdag nito, “To our dear kababayans, this is your government at work. Let me assure the entire nation that we will be unrelenting in the pursuit of a more comfortable life for everyone through safe and
reliable infrastructures.”
Nagpasalamat din si SMC President Ramon Ang sa ‘Build Build Build’ project dahil marami itong nabuksang proyekto.
Inaasahang makatutulong ang three-lane expansion project para madagdagan ng 4,500 sasakyan ang kapasidad nito kada oras.
Idinesenyo rin ang naturang proyekto upang maibsan ang pagsisikip ng trapiko sa southern portion ng Metro Manila.
